Prior to co-founding Piqed, Helen led the futures team in high frequency algorithmic trading at Chopper Trading, specializing in machine learning, large data analysis and low-latency optimizations. She holds a B.A. in Applied Math and Economics from Harvard and is a native of Virginia. Helen loves her maltese poodle Yoyo, art museums, super-aged artisan cheeses, and piano.

Annie is a PM turned front-end developer with a passion for UX design. She grew up in Taiwan and graduated from the University of Washington with a double degree in Business Administration and Molecular Biology. Prior to Piqed, she worked as a Project Manager at both a startup and large corporate companies. Annie has raised a dog (Nini) and a cat (Pipi) and loves to travel the world, geek out on science, and everything fluffy.

Michelle Liu

She received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern. Prior to Piqed, she worked at Zenefits as an Client Escalations Specialist, where she quarterbacked client needs and functioned as client advocate in addition to managing large enterprise accounts. Michelle and her bichon Boba currently reside in San Francisco. As a Chicagoan, she can never resist deep dish pizza, Chicago-style hot dogs, and Garrett’s popcorn.
